Dinner with Triple S :19 Jun

Met up with Sooyi, Shirley & Sarah (I just realized that they are all 'Ss') for dinner at Orchard. Before that, went to the Agnes B counter at Isetan @ Wisma. Wanted to buy a bigger size bag for casual use, and was deciding between a few choices. Eventually, settled on Agnes B Vogage, as the price is more of within my budget.

Settled on the off-white after much consideration between getting the col 1 like, or the col that's easier to maintain.

Poor Shirley was not feeling well, hence she left earlier than us..

I was browsing through my email, and came across this photos of the Albino Peacock. Personally, I do not fancy peakcocks,but this really catch my attention. It looks so majestic, and the feathers look like snow flakes

Ah Heng

Went to Jurong Point for Kung Fu Panda yesterday night, and guess what??

I saw Ah Heng!! Previously I've mentioned that I don't have his no. anymore, and wanted to try and find him to get his new hp no. I know that he's working at JP, but always do not have the time to go and find him.. who knows that I'll bump into him yesterday nite.. just outside JP taxi stand.. I'm very happy, cuz finally I got his contact no. again. ^^

Anyway, watched Kung Fu Panda with Sarah and Ah Seng. The overall plot is good and gives us the laughing bugs very frequently.... Have not enjoyed a nice movie for such a long time, and this is 1 show which I will recommend if you want to release ur stress after a day's work.. Hehe..

Istelle can walk by herself

My darling has finally learnt to be independent. Her 1st long walk by herself, was on 13th Jun.. She greeted me by walking over to me with a loaf of bread in her hand when I stepped into the house.. Hehe.. I was so surprised and at the same time, very happy.. I can't resist hugging her tightly and praising her.. ^^ My little precious darling is really growing up... and I love her so much..

Imation Apollo Hard Disk

After getting the Seagate Free Agent ext hdd during the last IT fair and that my lappie was unable to power up the hdd, even with external power source, I had much consideration and was in a dilemma for the past 3 days, deciding whether to get myself another HDD.


Eventually, I finally decided to buy the Imation Apollo External Hard Disk.. So off I went to the IT fair with Jayden this afternoon, just before I went to the office. The hdd was selling like hotcakes.. 160GB @ SGD98 , 250GB @ SGD135 and 320GB @ SGD190+.. Of cuz, I got myself the 250GB as it's more worth the price.


I specially love the sleek and cool 2.5" HDD, with chrome triming, blue LED, and what's more, it's so light and handy.. ^^ Really suitable for a lady's handbag.. I have to admit that I find it very hard to resist stylish Technology gadgets.. All thanks to the designers out there.. Now, I need to look for a compatible carry case to go with it.. ^^

Flooble Chatterbox

After I have changed to this current blogskin, I am unable to add my previous chatterbox to it.. This blog template make use of widgets, but I know nuts about it I keep getting the coding error regarding the syntax'ID', but the problem is, the'ID' in chatterbox code is not a tag or whatever.!! Wonder if there's anyone who can help me with the codings to get my chatterbox into this template...

New Blog Skin

I just realized that blogger has so much features now... Can even customized your site... OMG! I think I am really such a mountain tortoise..

I am quite happy with the customization that blogger has implemented.. so many features. But 1thing though, I realized that the layout is exactly the same as Kareen's.. it's just the colour difference... But anyway, I guess that's just the way it is, with the limited template that blogger has.. =p

WIll try to do some add ons to my blog when I am free, hopefully to make it more unique.. but as for now, it's bedtime... *Yawnz*

No wonder blogger still remain as my favourite blog site all these years...

~*~Weihan's POP~*~

10June : Took leave today, and attended Weihan's BMT POP @ Tekong. It was a really long and tiring day.. Met mummy at Batok MRT station at 12.45pm. Proceeded to Pasir Ris and took the army's shuttle bus from there. And guess what? I saw this young handsome guy on board the same bus as me, whom I supposed is attending his friend's POP, as there are a few frds with him as well.

Well, very well groomed and handsome lOoking, abit of those ABC style. My Style! haha! Anyway, he's way too young.. Guess he's at least 5yrs younger than me. ANyway, please pardon me. I just LOVE to admire handsome guys. haha!! I love to admire my hubby too la.. in my eyes, he's the most handsome liao.. =p

Anyway, this is my 3rd time visiting Tekong, Recalling back:

1st Time : Eugene's Parent Visiting Day and I went to Mummy

2nd Time : BMTC Visit during my poly days. It's a fun trip.

Anyway, reached the parade square area about 3pm, just about in time for the parade to start. Istelle was so excited.. She seemed so engrossed in the marching, and clapped together with the rest of the visitors after the soldiers marched are done with the marching in.

THere's this National Service guy, who actually asked me if Istelle is my sister, and boy was he stunned when I told him she's my daughter. Haha! Well, I know I look young.. =p

The parade ended quite early, about 4+, but because Han is in the 'V' company, which happened to be the 2nd last company, we have to let the other companies to proceed to the ferry terminal 1st..

It was already close to 7pm when we finally boarded ferry.. Luckily Hubby fetch us from Changi Ferry Terminal, so we don't have to travel all the way back to Pasir RIs and then to Woodlands.

Was totally shaq out by the time I reach home. I can finally have a good night rest as Istelle's back home with Grandma.

Looking at my bro, I realized that he has really grown up.. I miss those days when we were just children, all staying together under the same roof... But people grow up & start forming their own family & home.This is just part and parcel of life.. I am getting emo again.. *Sobz*

PS : I love you, is 3 words which were not generously used on family.. So I just wanna say ...

I love my hubby(The best HUbby in this world, that 1 can ever have), my Istelle darling(love her no matter what may happen in future), my mummy(The most wonderful in the whole world), my daddy (Though he's very naggy and stingy, I still love him nonetheless), and of cuz, I love my 2 bros (Though I never told them that, but I do dote on them alot..)

08 Jun 08 : Finally, my darling turned 1 yr old today. It seems only yesterday when I first lay eyes on her in the ops theatre, when I just hold her in my arms on the ops bed...

Hubby and I had been preparing for this day. We spent nights doing up Istelle's collage, from the time when she's born, till she's 1yr old. Prepared lil souveniers & goodies bag for guests and kids...

Cake cutting is supposed to be at 3pm, but the little princess is sleeping away so soundly and sweetly, that I couldn't bear to wake her up. In the end , Ting had to leave as Angel has to go for her swimming lesson, and Fang & HR too left before cake cutting as HR is not feeling well..

Anyway, Istelle woke up at about 3.30pm, and I immediately proceeded for cake cutting. Well, my living room is too small to hold a whopping 50+of guests, hence we just have to make the best of the limited space that we have.

Many thanks to all my dear friends who attended(Unable to list all as the list goes on and on), and sorry for not being a great host.. too many people to entertain, hence I have to leave them to entertain themselves.

Istelle was quite grouchy today, as she's not feeling well and I supposed, the big crowd... Wanted to take alot of photos to remember this day, but in the end, too busy to do so.. =(

Dear Mommy:

I am in Heaven now, sitting on Jesus' lap. He loves me and cries with me; for my heart has been broken. I so wanted to be your little girl. I don't quite understand what has happened. I was so excited when I began realizing my existence. I was in a dark, yet comfortable place. I saw I had fingers and toes. I was pretty far along in my developing, yet not near ready to leave my surroundings. I spent most of my time thinking or sleeping.

Even from my earliest days, I felt a special bonding between you and me. Sometimes I heard you crying and I cried with you.Sometimes you would yell or scream, then cry. I heard Daddy yelling back. I was sad, and hoped you would be better soon. I wondered why you cried so much.

One day you cried almost all of the day. I hurt for you. I couldn't imagine why you were so unhappy. That same day, the most horrible thing happened.

A very mean monster came into that warm, comfortable place I was in. I was so scared, I began screaming, but you never once tried to help me. Maybe you never heard me.

The monster got closer and closer as I was screaming and screaming, "Mommy, Mommy, help me please; Mommy, help me." Complete terror is all I felt. I screamed and screamed until I thought I couldn't anymore.
Then the monster started ripping my arm off. It hurt so bad; the pain I can never explain. It didn't stop. Oh, how I begged it to stop. I screamed in horror as it ripped my leg off.

Though I was in such complete pain, I was dying. I knew I would never see your face or hear you say how much you love me. I wanted to make all your tears go away. I had so many plans to make you happy. Now I couldn't; all my dreams were shattered. Though I was in utter pain and horror, I felt the pain of my heart breaking, above all. I wanted more than anything to be your daughter.

No use now, for I was dying a painful death. I could only imagine the terrible things that they had done to you. I wanted to tell you that I love you before I was gone, but I didn't know the words you could understand.
And soon, I no longer had the breath to say them; I was dead. I felt myself rising. I was being carried by a huge angel into a big beautiful place. I was still crying, but the physical pain was gone.

The angel took me to Jesus and set me on His lap. He said He loved me, and He was my Father.
Then I was happy. I asked Him what the thing was that killed me. He answered, "Abortion. I am sorry, my child; for I know how it feels."

I don't know what abortion is; I guess that's the name of the monster.I'm writing to say that I love you and to tell you how much I wanted to be your little girl. I tried very hard to live. I wanted to live. I had the will, but I couldn't; the monster was too powerful.

It sucked my arm and legs off and finally got all of me. It was impossible to live. I just wanted you to know I tried to stay with you. I didn't want to die.

Also, Mommy, please watch out for that abortion monster. Mommy, I love you and I would hate for you to go through the kind of pain I did. Please be careful.

Back to work..it seems as if there's no weekend for me. Really feeling very stone now, stone to the brim..Blame it on my working sunday, and also blame it on my dream yesterday night..

I kept dreaming of zombies the whole night through, with a full story, just as if it's a movie. Anyway, I do not want to go into the details of my dream. Went online and search for interpretation of my dream and this is what I got ..

Yeah, Darling has seen the doc, and doc has confirmed it's not HFMD. Might be due to the step2 formula or egg.. Currently, just try to keep her away from both. ^^ What a great relief..

It's 1st June, and as usual, I am in my office now, in preparation for my month end closing. But my Lotus cannot open!!! Now, HQ is trying to solve the problem.. Sigh. waste of time. HOw can they allow such things to happen on a month end closing day?!?!

Anyway, as here I am blogging away, I am also waiting for call from hubby. my poor Istelle Darl'g has developed so much spots on both of her arms, her buttocks area and her foot.. I am really very worried.. I wonder if it's due to her change of milk powder (I mixed 1 spoon of Step 2 Formula to her current Step1 Formula to prepare her for the change as she's turning 1 yr old soon. Or is it due to the teeny weeny bit of egg that my mum feed her. Or is it HFMD?? Of cuz, I really pray that it's not the worst.

Why must it happened, just before her 1yr old bday?? It'll leave scars definitely, for now.. I wanted her to be like a pretty little princess.. Anyway.. all I hope now is that she'll be fine.. Pray and hope.. Waiting for hubby's call...

My Wonderful Hubby & DInner with Kain

Just came out from my shower, feeling clean and fresh, while Hubby has went out to a KTV Pub with Qi and Sengwu..

I was still thinking as I was bathing, should on my lappie and blog, surf net, or should I just lay comfortably on bed and watch tv..

Well, I guess I do not need to think too much, cuz the moment i stepped into my room, i found my Lappie on my bed, all ready for me to use. Hehe.. I know it must definitely be my lovely hubby.. Get my things all ready for me before he goes out. I seriously do not know where to find such a wonderful man, and I am glad that the wonderful man is mine... *Blissful*

Met up with Kain at Raffles City today after work, and had our dinner @ Shokudo. Well, call me mountain tortoiste, but I have been longing to try out this restaurant. Although the Shokudo restaurant is more common, their Marche Style concept can only be found in Raffles City..

But actually, I was quite disappointed with their food.. THe mushroom soup was quite nice, but as for the others, it seems quite common.. As compared, I prefer the food at Ma Maison.. But I enjoyed myself nontheless, cause it's been almost a yr since I last saw Kain..

I think I did alot of talking on my wedding and Istelle. Haha! Hope I did not bore him.. But towards the later part, I guess I was very tired because work has been very very busy this whole month, especially today as Karen was on MC.. Nearly 'fainted' in front of my PC.. we ended our dinner and Jalan close to 9 and HUbby came to fetch me home..

ANyway, I am really tired, so think I will just end my entry here for today.. *yawnz*

Before I go bring Fat home to woodlands, just wanna blog a short entry.

All along, I had wanted to get myself a Polaroid camera, but been holding back till I've long forgetten about it. Until I met up with Qing, Yi & Shirley for dinner @ Sakae CWP on 9th May(Friday). Had so musch fun snapping fotos, that I finally cannot resist the temptation and bought myself 1, immediately on 10th May, the next day. Hehe.

Just a very short introduction. Shirley, A.K.A Big Cherry, is Yi's eldest sis, my newfound friend, and also a member of the 38 Club. Hehe.. A very nice and generous lady. Anyway, SHirley brought her polaroid cam with 'Hello Kitty' films. Had a fun time, snapping Fat's photos. and also our group fotos. Hehe.

That's our 1st gathering with Shirley. The 2nd gathering was held on 18th May @ Shirley's jumbo flat, with more members attending. Dap, Hao, Yi, Guan, Qing, Me, Chao & Istelle. Once again, snapping away on her polaroid & Digicam.

Realized that both Shirley and I have a common interest, which is phototaking. And also also like to DIY stuff for her friends. As for me, the last thing I DIY was a small and simple collage for mine and Hubby's 1st Wedding Anniversary. Anyway, glad to know this new friend of mine. Keke.. I know Big Cherry will be reading this entry. =p

Well, here comes another back dated entry..

Ron's b'day is on 8th June, but of cuz, actual day is to be celebrated with her bf, Jiaxian. So our celebration with her is held in advance, on 05th May.

Was supposed to have dinner at Shokudo @ citylink, but as Vivi's sick, we cancelled the dinner and proceed to Ting's place for a mini celebration instead.

Ting, Ron, Fang and I, of course not forgetting Angel, we met up at causeway point first. Bought some sushi from Ichiban Sushi, Spaghetti from Pastamania & Herbal egg from Eu Yan Sang.. and a small cake from four leaves bakery. After that, we went to fetch Vivi from her grandma's before proceeding to Ting's place.. This is the 1st time that Ting drove and send us to her hse. Have to say, her driving is still not bad. QUite safe. hehe.

DId not do anything much, but we did have a great time at Ting's house.. Chatting, playing with ANgel & VIvi, taking lotsa photos..Me being the photographer. Hehe..

I saw this on my desk when I stepped into the office, on 16th Apr. From my dear colleague, Claire Claire.. ^^ Well, On the Ang Bao, she wrote that she doesn't know what to get for me, and she also do not like to give presents which I don't like, so she gave me $$. And it's the 1st time that she is doing so. Keke.. Well, there's always a 1st time my dear. =p

SHe also prepared the sandwich for Karen and I as breakfast, and buy me a soybean from Jollybean. 好肉麻，不过还是得说：吃在嘴里，甜在心里！hehe..


Hubby sent this bouquet to me on my birthday itself.. His surprise to me. This is the 3rd bouquet of flowers that hubby gave me ever since I knew him. ^^

Last but not the least,here are the photos of Dap's Bday celebration.She treated us to Ma Maison at Bugis.. the food there is nice. Except for the fact that it's too salty, I quite like the taste. Dear Dap spent quite a bomb on this treat. Thanks ger.

~*~ConGrAts tO hAo & dAp~*~

Yesterday was an inportant day for Hao... It's the day he proposed to our Dear Dap.. ^^ He has been in preparation since last Wednesday, 07th May.

Ah Yi was the 1st to know, and she told me about it. Guess we were all so excited for him.. The venue for proposal was at ECP beach. Yi and Qing took half day leave to help Hao with the preparation. I was unable to take leave though, cuz I have took too many due to so many incidents happening at home.

ANyway, I took a long long stroll of 40mins from the Macdonalds @ ECP to reach Big Splash!! When I reached, it was already 740pm but they were still doing some final touch to the layout. Hao had dug the words 'Will U Marry Me' in the sand. Supposed to be lighted up when Dap reach, but I guess the kerosene has all but seeped into the sand. A pity for all his hard work.

When Hao went to fetch Dap, and with the help of his colleague, Chris, and some 'white lies', he managed to get Dap to the location where he has all the flowers, Wedding Bear from 'Make A Bear Workshop', Proposal Ring, Champagne & Photo nicely displayed...

Qi was the videographer, but as the surrounding was too dark, the video turned out quite dark.. As for the 3 of us ladies, Qing, Yi & I, we were the photographers.. Had to actually find trees/dark areas to hide, in case Dap saw us. Very 'luckily', the 3 of us had to stand right into an ants nest. and kena bitten all over our feet with red ants.. and Damn it was so painful!!! Eventually, we decided that we will just squat somewhere near to the sea..

Of cuz, and luckily, our female lead said "I Do". Hehe. .I was so touched @ the part when Dap saw the bear, I heard the songs, and I nearly cried.. =~( Haha! I am such an Emo.. But I was really so happy for Dap.. that she has a boyfriend who will go through all the hard work to propose to her.

Anyway, as for the hardwork part, I have to leave it to Yi to blog. I wasn't around to witness it.. ^^

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Gonna hear wedding bells soon..
